Known as one of the best apples to cook and bake with, Granny Smith apples have a distinct tart flavor with a firm, crisp bite. They keep well and freeze well, and they are also one of the few apples that don’t brown quickly once cut. This variety begins ripening in August. .

  • Produces medium-to-large green apples with white specks and firm, white flesh
  • Granny Smith is one of the fastest growing of all apple cultivars!
  • Granny Smith is very cold hardy, surviving harsh winters where other apple varieties wouldn’t stand a chance.
